A Phoenix from the Ashes Shop – Terms and Conditions

We always want you to be happy with your purchases from A Phoenix from the Ashes shop which is why we have written these Terms and Conditions.

At A Phoenix from the Ashes we love to make our customers smile.

Your products will be lovingly wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon or string. We want you to feel like a child at Christmas when your parcels arrive.  However: We like to recycle and reuse packaging for postal reasons. Don’t be alarmed if your item arrives inside a shoe box, the contents will still be beautiful.

Postage and Shipping


Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed for – £4.50

Please allow up to 10 days after dispatch – We are currently using Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed for. We will send you email confirmation to let you know when your order has been dispatched..

Click and Collect (UK):  You can now select to collect your order from A Phoenix from the Ashes at our Head office in Buntingford.  We will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection.


International Tracked and Signed for – £12.50 – Royal Mail International.  Please allow 10-15 days after dispatch

USA, Australia & Singapore

International Tracked and Signed for – £18.15 – Royal Mail International.  Please allow 30 days after dispatch

Rest of World

International Tracked and Signed for – £17.20- Royal Mail International.  Please allow 30 days after dispatch



In accordance with the Direct Selling Regulations, if the goods are unsuitable or faulty when you receive them then please contact us withing 7 working days of receiving the goods or return them to us within 28 days. Please specify if you would like a refund or credit voucher.  If we are unable to replace your item with a new you will be offered a refund or credit voucher under our returns policy.

Please contact us letting us know that you intend to return the goods for a full refund or credit voucher. All we ask is that the returned goods are in a resaleable condition & and returned to A Phoenix from the Ashes, 42 Monks Walk, Buntingford, Herts, SG99DR within 14 days of your receipt of them. For your own peace of mind, please obtain proof of postage as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit.

Once an order is placed we are unable to cancel the order.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your cost of returning the goods to us unless they are damaged or faulty. If the goods are unsuitable then we must be able to resell the goods, so if the packaging has been damaged in anyway then we may reclaim the cost of the packaging. We are not able to replace personalised goods unless they are faulty as we are not able to resell them.

Goods must have been purchased at www.aphoenixfromtheashes.com to be eligible for a refund.

You will recieve a refund via the same payment method within 2 weeks of the receipt of the returned goods or a credit voucher will be sent.

We aim to process and despatch your order within 7 working days of cleared payment please allow up to 28 days.

All orders are accepted under English law.

Susan formally owned a shop called BEAU TREASURE.  This closed a year ago.  After much soul searching Susan felt the time was right to merge her lifestyle store into her lifestyle blog and A Phoenix from the Ashes was born. Some stock sold on here is from her old store.
