I had an amazing lie in following a brilliantly long day at the beach.
There was a cold cup of tea on my bedside table when I awoke; which Josh had left me before he went to work. He said I looked so peaceful he just couldn’t wake me.
Hubby delivered me a hot cup of tea (I literally can not function without that first cup of tea) and then I opened cards and presents in bed.
Being 41 is not so bad.
I had breakfast made for me; Spelt Pancakes which were lovely and my Mummy joined us.
Apologies to anyone who wrote on my Facebook wall lovely messages (and there are a lot). I will try to get back to you soon. I honestly have not had the chance yet.
Highlights of the day for me was the gorgeous Cheesecake that George made me and just spending time with friends doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes it really is the simple things that truly are the nicest.
