Reflection & Setting Goals
I can’t believe that July is almost at an end. This year seems to be going so fast and while I feel I have progressed I often have those days where you feel stuck. Do you ever feel like that?
This month I have had a few days like that. So I decided to set myself some GOALS. I try not to over-think this, I usually sit with a piece of paper and calm myself so I can focus and then give myself a time limit to write a list. When ever I have done this exercise in the past I am always surprised by a couple of things.
MY GOALS LIST became LEARNING GOALS
- Interior Design
- Adobe Photoshop- Master
- Nikon D3200 – Learn to use the camera and take some cracking images
- Social Media for business – Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Hashtags, Google Plus, Linked In, Facebook
- Develop Blog
- Brand – Really work on finding and developing my brand
- Feng Shui
- Clutter Clearing
This list is me; right there on paper. All of my passions and interests – for all to see. Wow that feels like baring my soul. It may look like a list of hobbies and distractions to some. What I see is the things that interest me and make me happy and that feed my soul. The social media is an interesting one. I love social media, I always have. I was one of the first to use Facebook and yet I don’t feel like I really ‘know’ how to use it to be effective.
I want to inspire people in life. That is what I have realised of late, that I want to be remembered and I do want to influence people in a good and positive way. I think perhaps that is going to happen and progress through this blog as it develops. Everything listed on here is also going to help develop my blog, so without even realising it at the time I am perhaps finally on the right path.
So now I need to sit with this list and work out some time to indulge in some of these.
Have a great weekend.
